Favorite Idols: Gen 4
Though I have another page with my favorite groups and bias list, I thought it might be fun to write down my favorite idols themselves and explain why I feel more of a connection to them. This is Generation 4. Let me know your favorite idols in the comments!

Male Idols:
Seonghwa (ATEEZ)

One of my favorite voices in ATEEZ but also the one I relate to the most with his utter mom friend exasperation. Also, I adore his fashion sense; it’s constantly giving queer YA protagonist in a sword fight, and I love that for him.
Lee Know (Stray Kids)

He has cats. He’s their father. Enough said. But seriously, I love his humor and his dancing abilities are off the charts. And how much he loves the other members–though he may not admit it.
Yeonjun (TXT)

One of the newer additions to my list, since I’ve just been getting into TXT. But I like his sense of humor and his honesty. When I saw them live, his stage presence blew me away.
Taehyun (TXT)

My other bias in TXT, courtesy of my little cousin Ella, because, “he gives Taehyun vibes”. So funny and so talented, as well as the writer of some of my favorite songs of theirs, like MOA Diary and Can’t We Just Leave The Monster Alone?
TEN (WayV)

Quite possibly the only person in NCT as busy as Mark Lee, Ten speaks five languages, raises three cats, is part of two groups and somehow manages to be a great solo artist too. I can’t wait until he has a bigger catalog.
Yechan (Lucy)

A new addition to this list, Yechan’s the violinist of the band Lucy, and, though he doesn’t sing much, he has such a soothing voice. He’s also a talented painter, creating some of the band’s album covers and a couple of his own tattoos. I hope I get to see him live one day!
Han (Stray Kids)

My other SKZ bias, Han’s absolute all-rounder who can outrap, outsing, and outdance anyone by a mile. A clever and prolific writer who also has strong solo work, and, besides that, just such a weirdo.
Hongjoong (ATEEZ)

One of my first biases in ATEEZ, Hongjoong may be small, but he’s mighty, and he stole the stage several times through the concert I saw. Besides that, he’s a fantastic writer and composer and such a kind leader.
Female Idols:
Yuqi ([G]I-DLE)

A great lyricist and singer with an uncommonly rich and deep voice for k-pop and also very funny. She’s a huge part of why (G)I-DLE are as great as they are.
Chuu (LOONA)

Both the definition of a megawatt smile and a trailblazer in the industry, who sued her abusive company, won, and managed to free her members too. You better believe I cried.
Yeongeun (Rolling Quartz)

She’s a purple-haired Dreamcatcher fan in a rock band that sings about protesting occupation and plays the drums in fishnets. Literally how is anyone that cool?
Tsuki (Billlie)

If ever a human could be described as a ball of sunshine, Tsuki’s it. Bubbly and bright with a great sense of humor and some (very underrated) stage presence, I actually named my beloved little Japanese rice cooker after her, and set it to play J-pop when it’s done.
Soyeon ((G)I-DLE)

(G)I-DLE’s main songwriter and producer, on a mission to change the kpop industry for the better. She’s so talented and I feel like she doesn’t get enough credit for all of her vision and creative direction. Soyeon’s one of a kind.
