Happy Monday, Married To The Music readers!

A Quick “This Week On The Blog” Explanation:

Every Monday, I’ll be sending out a post like this one to let you know what new groups I’ll be covering and what posts I’ll be updating for the week, along with what else is going on in the industry and who else are making comebacks. The brand new posts will of course be emailed to you like always, but this way you’ll be able to keep up with what groups I’ve covered in the past are up to now, and how my thoughts have evolved, especially if you’re not following the blog on social media.

(If you don’t and you’d like to, click here for links!; if you don’t and you’re fine with that, no worries!)

Also, if you don’t keep up to date on when groups make their comebacks, I hope that this will give you a little heads-up that someone you like is making a return, and maybe even convince you to check out the songs yourself. Feel free to either go under Contact Me or click “reply” to this email (or any others) to leave a comment and I’ll get back to you when I can. I always love to hear your thoughts if you do!

Thank you so much / Danke Sehr / 너무 감사합니다 again for subscribing to Married To The Music; I hope you look forward to your new post emails almost as much as I look forward to sending them. Happy reading! Tschüss!

This Week In K-pop:

Last week we had Chenle of NCT Dream, EPEX ONEUS’ Xion, Kiss Of Life, Day6, and BABYMONSTER, P1Harmony and Ablume.

This week is a little lighter. Today, Monday, we have 5th gen girl groups MEOVV and TripleS, tomorrow there’s BoyNextDoor, and Wednesday there’s soloists BIBI and Yuta and TWICE. Later in the week, we have Jeong Sewoon, Jin of BTS, Jaechan of DKZ, and girl group X:IN.

Next week, we’ll be very busy, with heavy hitters I-DLE, RIIZE, Baekhyun, Kim Jaejoong, and VVS all on the same day. And I, for one, can’t wait.

This Week’s Spotlight:

I decided that in these weekly posts, I’m going to choose a random song to spotlight as well, especially if its group is now inactive or rarely comes back. This week, I went with Monster by BigBang, who I reviewed in a fairly emotional two parter last year, and whose albums, as the title and TWs suggest, is often overshadowed by the Burning Sun scandal. Still, I think there’s value in appreciating the music they did make in a decade-and-a-half long career, so I chose the song Monster, a title track but not a well known one. It goes for a dancefloor sound that quickly gets under your skin, and despite the abject drama of its hook (I. Love. You. Baby I’m not a monsterrrrr), you’ll find yourself singing or dancing along in no time.

That’s all for this week! See you soon! Tschüss!

Let me know your thoughts!
