A Quick “This Week On The Blog” Explanation:

Every Monday, I’ll be sending out a post like this one to let you know what new groups I’ll be covering and what posts I’ll be updating for the week, along with what else is going on in the industry and who else are making comebacks. The brand new posts will of course be emailed to you like always, but this way you’ll be able to keep up with what groups I’ve covered in the past are up to now, and how my thoughts have evolved, especially if you’re not following the blog on social media.

Also, if you don’t keep up to date on when groups make their comebacks, I hope that this will give you a little heads-up that someone you like is making a return, and maybe even convince you to check out the songs yourself. This Week In K-pop:

Last week, we had a bit of a lighter roster, though it still included NCT WISH, 82MAJOR, Kwon Eunbi, ODD YOUTH, HIGHLIGHT (B2ST), and Big Ocean, almost all of which are on my to-cover list.

We’re in for one hell of a week this time, both on the blog and in k-pop, and I’m honestly so pumped. Just today, we have TWS, and soloists Onew of SHINee, Chuu of LOONA, and Kai of EXO, which is…so much. Tomorrow there’s VVS, NIEL, and Leedo of ONEUS (who’s making his solo debut), and Wednesday both YOUNITE and the band Lucy. Later in the week, there’s iconic soloist Kwon Jinah returning with a third album, and both LOVEONE and POW. And breathe. Which one are you most excited for? Let me know in the comments!

Next week, we again have 2nd gen boy group HIGHLIGHT making a comeback but also 5th gen girl groups MEOVV, HITGS, Fifty Fifty, and Kep1er, and soloist HyunA.

This Week’s Spotlight:

I decided that in these weekly posts, I’m going to choose a random song to spotlight as well, especially if its group is now inactive or rarely comes back. The last two weeks, I’ve done a girl group, so I thought I’d switch things up this week and spotlight a boy group instead. This week our song is Goblin by A.C.E.. Though they’re a newer group (I think they debuted in 2019 / 2020?), this song is a masterpiece that just made my jaw drop the first time I heard it and in my opinion, doesn’t get enough love. Enjoy!
